About

Hi, I'm Chris Datiles (he/him), a queer Filipino American therapist (LPCC #13266) and IFS-trained therapist based in Los Angeles. I offer individual therapy, couples therapy, and grief groups in-person in Little Tokyo / the Arts District and online throughout California.

I came to this work through my own experiences with grief, loss, and the complexity of holding multiple identities. I understand first hand how cultural expectations, family loyalty, and systemic marginalization can shape how we see ourselves and how we cope, and bring that lived understanding into my work with clients.

I specialize in working with healthcare workers, educators, and creatives who feel the weight of cancer, grief and loss, trauma, and relationship issues. Maybe you're carrying grief that hasn't had space to breathe, navigating your identity in a world that doesn't always make room for you, or stuck in patterns you understand but can't seem to move.

My clients are thoughtful, deeply feeling adults and couples who are ready for therapy that goes beneath the surface. Together, we work toward something more than coping. We work towards real change.Therapy with me means having the space to slow down and tend to what matters.

Reaching out is often the hardest part, and you don't have to have the right words. Whatever brought you here, I'm glad you found your way. If something on this page felt familiar, that's enough. I'd love to connect. Visit my website to learn more about my approach and schedule a free consultation.
