About
I am a first-generation Filipino American, licensed clinical psychologist and marriage and family therapist with over 10 years of experience providing therapy, counseling, and coaching. As a trauma-informed therapist, my mission is to address an individual's mental health and uncover its possible connections to intergenerational traumas and past experiences, and uncover purpose and live a value-driven life.
I am extremely passionate about individualizing therapy for each of my clients and believe that everyone is worthy of care and support. I have worked with clients with a variety of presenting issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship and family issues, and substance use. As an Asian American therapist, I am focused on the healing of Asian American adults, to work through underlying intergenerational traumas and discover their ethnic identities. I provide brief and long-term psychotherapy and focused treatment on symptom reduction, emotional management, social skills training, and all clients need to live a value-based life.
It is of top priority for me to meet clients where they are and adjust treatment and my approach to what will work best for them and our work together. I hope to help clients live their life based on their values, beliefs, and inspired by past experiences and emotional issues. And to help clients realize their potential and to provide them with the tools they need to be successful in the future. I am invested in the client’s overall well-being and strive to ensure that their healing is well-rounded.
