About
Hi, I’m Rosalie Maduro (she/her), a proud first-generation Filipinx-American and an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist based in California and Utah. I specialize in trauma work and am passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s ups and downs with compassion and resilience.
My path into therapy was anything but traditional. I began my career as a mechanical engineer, earning my BS from The George Washington University and working in operations and client management at places like the World Bank Group and start-ups. Eventually, a deeper calling led me to pursue a Master’s in Clinical Psychology with a trauma specialization from Antioch University Los Angeles.
In my practice, I take a holistic, culturally attuned approach that honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit, values deeply rooted in my Filipino upbringing. The concept of kapwa (shared humanity) guides my belief that healing happens in connection, not isolation. I integrate trauma-informed care, somatic interventions, Narrative Therapy, and EMDR, weaving in mindfulness and movement practices as a certified 500-hour Clinical Yoga Practitioner.
I have extensive experience working with BIPOC, AAPI, Filipinx, and LGBTQIA+ communities, as well as adolescents and couples. I am passionate about creating affirming spaces for clients exploring identity, navigating relationship challenges, processing trauma, or moving through major life transitions.
Outside the therapy room, you’ll find me spending time with my family and rescue dogs, hiking, skiing, practicing yoga, scuba diving, or volunteering in my community. Staying connected to nature, family, and service keeps me grounded and informs the care I offer my clients.
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready to heal, you don’t have to do it alone. Together, we’ll build trust, untangle old patterns, and help you step into your most authentic, empowered self.
