About
Hi, I’m Kirsten. I’m a psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner offering holistic and integrative mental healthcare in California. I offer telehealth appointments for diagnosis, treatment, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy for adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, and ADHD. I strive to deliver the highest quality of care that is patient-centered, evidence-based, inclusive, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed.
I value the importance of the therapeutic alliance and take time to establish rapport with each client to make sure they feel safe, heard, understood, and well-cared for. I provide whole person care using the biopsychosocial approach and I believe that treatment is not limited to just medications and therapy. It involves looking into other areas of an individual's life as well including current stressors and stress management, past experiences, relationship dynamics, utilization of resources and support systems, overall health, and lifestyle. I strive to deliver the highest quality of care by taking time to built rapport with each client, formulating diagnosis, providing psychoeducation on medications and other treatment options, giving recommendations based on clinical judgment, while taking into consideration patient preferences, making sure to address any questions and concerns along the way.
Treatment plans are personalized for each individual as we work closely in collaboration to meet their treatment goals. I will show up and do everything I can to help support you in becoming the happiest, most authentic, most present, healed, version of yourself so you can start living your life to the fullest.
