About

I am the eldest daughter of immigrants from the Philippines, born and raised in New York. I hold a masters degree in school psychology and a doctorate in school-clinical psychology. Currently, I am licensed in NY and provide psychological or therapeutic services (i.e., therapy and psychological testing) to children, adolescents and adults. I also provide clinical supervision for early career mental health practitioners.

Although I believe that we all have our individual experience of being in the world, I appreciate the shared experience of being Filipinx-American. Whether you are seeking therapy to address or explore life transitions, anxiety, depression, personal identity, stress, or relationships we can understand these conflicts through this community lens. With your goals in mind, I draw from a variety of evidence based therapies such as psychodynamic and play, as well as cognitive and dialectical behavioral. I have expertise in grief and loss, care-giving, physical health related problems, and cultural identity.

In addition to psychotherapy, I also provide child, adolescent, and adult educational and psychological assessment for various referral questions to address academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges.
