About

Are you experiencing depression, anxiety, numbness, flashbacks, or compulsive behaviors that take over? Are intense reactions making it harder to develop and maintain relationships? Are you feeling stuck and unable to find your place in life? Is it challenging to focus or complete essential tasks in your day?

I have been there; you do not have to do it alone. My passion is journeying with women, gender-diverse adults, and first/second-generation immigrants who have experienced relational trauma, leading to addictions, compulsions, overdoing, perfectionism, and feelings of sadness, anxiety, or anger.

As a Certified EMDR, IFS Level-1 Trained, and IFS-Informed EMDR (Steps 2 & 3), ACT-Trauma trained therapist, I will help you live your best life with what you bring. I draw insights from my lived experiences as an immigrant and survivor/thriver of life and integrate inner knowing, compassion, and neuroscience to create spaces for relief, healing, and transformation.

I have a unique education in Counselling Psychology and Art Therapy and have received intensive training in varied modalities. I primarily utilize IFS, EMDR, ACT, and, if you are open to it, art therapy. I also bring with me 25+ years of psyche-related experiences, from assessment/training, school/community-based, outpatient/psychiatric, and family counselling to private practice.

I offer an Affirming and Culturally Responsive approach and utilize therapeutic, neurological and empirical-based interventions that can help you THRIVE and fully be SEEN.

What can you expect?

I will listen and understand your story. I will make sense of your desires, dreams, and goals. Then, together, we can come up with a plan that suits you. I will take your lead. You are in control. We will work through your struggle and pain. We will find a path towards hope, connection & growth that is safe and confidential. I am mindful and committed to your holistic and integrated healing.
