About

I’m Denise-Rae de Guzman, LMHC, an integrative therapist who helps people understand themselves more deeply and reconnect with what feels steady and authentic. I work with individuals of all ages, as well as parents, couples, families, and service members navigating ADHD and neurodivergence, anxiety and stress, identity questions, grief, relationship or parenting challenges, and major life transitions. Many of the people I support appear capable on the outside yet feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or “off” on the inside. Others have tried therapy before but still sense that something deeper is unresolved. I offer a space where you can explore these experiences with clarity, compassion, and curiosity.

My approach blends a strong behavioral and analytical foundation with intuitive insight and evidence-based tools. Together, we look beneath the surface to understand patterns, emotions, and the influence of family, culture, roles, and history on your present experience. Growing up in a military family and as the child of Filipino immigrants shaped my understanding of resilience, identity, and belonging. Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade supporting neurodivergent children and families across Hawai‘i, Oregon, and New York.
