About

Every one of us carries the sacred task of holding space for our own unique journeys and that of the world around us. When the path grows cumbersome, who holds space for you? I’ve had the honor of guiding many souls through these confusing and painful times since the year 2000 when I first ventured into the field of mental health. Over the past couple decades, my viewpoints and approaches have evolved to incorporate my own and my client’s indigenous, spiritual and cultural practices. I’ve developed a deep respect and personal practice for earth-based spirituality and traditions of our ancestors, and I continue to work with women, the LGBTQ+ community, people who struggle with mood, pervasive mental illness, addiction, relationship issues, cultural and identity concerns, trauma and abuse. I am committed to long-term in-depth work, often taking a few years of carefully unpacking mental and emotional wounds, to create deep, lasting change. My background and training in community mental health allow me to take a holistic perspective, inviting significant others and providers to engage in this sacred work if needed. There is pain, challenge, release, joy and illumination on this journey. And what I’ve come to find out is that so many of you are much stronger than you realize. There’s always a sense of awe when both of us arrive at that place of clarity, and it’s in those moments where I experience deep gratitude for the commitment, work and vulnerability displayed in our shared space. If you are called to reach out, I welcome your curiosity and your questions. Until then, may you take each day as it comes, and look forward to connecting with you soon!
