With all the things we did this Summer, we want to share it with you before we all have to jump into Fall!
Gamot
The inaugural GAMOT Wellness Summit took place on May 18, 2024, at Dynamico Space in San Francisco, CA. GAMOT, which means Medicine in Tagalog (Filipino), is a pioneering initiative aimed at nurturing community connections and advocating for mental health and wellness within the AANHPI population. Filipina/x/o Americans came together to connect with each other, with medical healers, and with resources at Dynamico Space, where we made strides in de-stigmatizing mental health. This day of healing and holistic wellness was filled with restorative workshops (sound healing and yoga), empowering panelists, and ended with a 5-course kamayan dinner. In partnership with GMA Pinoy TV, check out the FULL video on our YouTube, HERE!
