About

How many of us struggle with feeling that we are not enough or that we are undeserving of the greatest gifts life has to offer? If this is part of what brings you to therapy, you are not alone. I specialize in supporting new and aspiring parents during a stage of life as wondrous as it challenging to our deepest vulnerabilities. I have also worked with those who grapple with familial and relational conflict, stress at work and school, layers of cultural and systemic oppression, and the consequences of personal and inherited trauma. All have parts of them who can relate to the painful feeling of unworthiness. And all can learn how to meet their greatest internal challenges with curiosity, connectedness, and compassion to heal themselves from within.

I currently work as a clinical therapist at Family Tree Wellness, a group practice in the South Bay of Northern California focusing on reproductive and perinatal mental health. My style is relatable and client-led, and I strive to embody the values of empowerment, belonging, and social justice. It is my honor to support clients from historically marginalized communities, including Filipinx, AAPIs, the adult and adolescent children of immigrants, and other BIPOC. Beyond my clinical duties, I take to heart my responsibility to work for collective wellness by participating in community psychoeducation and advocacy efforts. I am privileged to live and work on the traditional lands of the Tamien Ohlone people.

When I’m not working, you might find me spending time with my two children, spouse, and dog, killing the music round on trivia night, or dreaming of returning home to the islands—I grew up on O‘ahu, Hawai‘i, and my ancestors come from the northernmost regions of the Philippines.
