About
Are you tired of feeling like your best isn’t good enough? Are you overwhelmed with the pressures of western society and your Filipino family? Are you wanting to stop your need for perfection and people-pleasing? Has procrastination got the best of you and your potential? If one of these feels true to your life, I want you to know that I’ve been there too, and I would be honored if you let me walk alongside you in your healing process.
Kamusta? My name is Jasmine (she/her/siya). I grew up in Covina, CA in Los Angeles County, or Tongva land. Growing up I frequently visited the Philippines with my family, so I am familiar with what life is like in the Philippines, and the differences between the two cultures. I believe this information would be helpful as I would be able to understand what my client might be referring to when they share their life-story with me.
Naturally, I am calm, empathic, open-minded, and use my sense of humor. I strive to make my clients feel seen and heard through providing a positive and non-judgmental therapeutic relationship. I am a person-centered, strengths-based clinician that integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches. Holistic and culturally informed is how I would describe my approach to healing. I believe in working on your mind and body connection through movement, meditation and breathing. I also like to integrate art for mindfulness and emotional awareness. I check in with my client to make sure that their needs are being met. I will acknowledge and celebrate you for who you are. I love to work with people from all walks of life.
