About
Kamusta? I’m Elda Almario (she/her), Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario, Canada and Founder of Larô Therapy. I specialize in working with neurodivergent and racialized children, youth, adults and families who have had diverse experiences including intergenerational trauma, behavioural concerns, life transitions, or mental health conditions. I also provide clinical supervision and support to mental health professionals. In my work, I foster a safe space that would allow you to unpack and process your experiences which I believe fosters healing and a stronger sense of self.
Born and raised in Manila, I moved to Toronto in 2018 bringing with me years of experience in the field of mental health. My interest began as a sibling to my Autistic brother. My first-hand experience gave me a deeper sense of compassion and unique perspective of living in a household impacted by the condition.
I’m a huge fan of the outdoors and enjoy staying active by doing marathons and triathlons. I love traveling - both outside of the therapy room and inside - through the narratives of the individuals I work with.
