About
I am a Filipina-American, Marriage and Family Therapist, based in the Bay Area. My practice is fully virtual at the moment, and servicing Californians.
Ilokana raised in San Francisco by a single mom, and then reunified with father after 12 years. I'm a wife in a mixed culture marriage and a mother of a (young) bi-cultural child, who has experienced complications, uncertainty, and joy.
I know what it is like to be parent/people pleasing, and also break rules when searching for liberation, alignment, and becoming rooted in what felt foreign but good to me. Hoping to help others find meaning and realization in what is meaningful and necessary for them.
I am the woman, I am today because of all my teachers, mentors, family, friends, experiences and mistakes. No one should do this journey alone. I am her to walk with you on your journey.
